We take pride in visiting your estate to look at the pieces you’re selling.
I hope to provide a comfortable and professional experience in taking time inspecting the items you’re willing to sell. No need to clean, dust off or fix anything. It is much better to see the items in the condition you currently have them in so not to cause any unknown damage, thus losing its value.
When you are ready to liquidate your estate, be sure to have a short description of the items you wish to dispose of. Give me a call or send an email with the description of the items. I will get back to you as soon as possible with further questions I may have, such as the age and condition the item is in. Once the description you provided and answers to the questions is analyzed, I’ll let you know if it’s something I’m interested in. We can agree on a time to come to your estate, see the item and pay you on the spot if the item is purchasable.
When it comes to estate jewelry, I am aware of the personal and sentimental value they may have. Estate jewelry that is not in fashion anymore but was very popular 40 years ago or so, can be of great interest. Make sure to keep jewelry in its original package or wherever you found it. If jewelry need to be cleaned or polished, I prefer to inspect it first before doing so.
In some cases, it may be that you just want a quote or an estimate of your estate and antiques, we recommend getting an appraisal. An appraisal is the practice of determining the value of a specific antique by examining and taking measurements of the antique. The appraisals are free of charge unless you need a written statement in which there is a fee.
I also specialize in facilitating estate or tag sales and work with specialists who are experts in specific types of antiques, putting the interests of the seller first.
